Luca Sabatucci

Luca Sabatucci is a Research Scientist at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), Institute for High-Performance Computing and Networking (ICAR).

He got PhD degree in Computer Science Engineering in 2009 from the University of Palermo.

From 2008 to 2009, he worked as a research assistant at the University of Palermo. From 2009 to 2011, he was a post-doc researcher at Fondazione Bruno Kessler in Trento. From 2012 to 2017, he was a temporary researcher at the National Research Council of Italy, and in 2018 he got a permanent position in the same institution.

His principal interests are in the areas of Self-Adaptive Systems and Requirements Engineering, working in the bridge between Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering. He is the author of many papers on the topic of Multi-Agent systems, Design Patterns, and Self-Adaptive Systems. He participated in the organization committee of SEIS 2016, and RE ‘11 and served on the program committees of many international conferences and workshops.

Recently, he designed and coded a Middleware for User-driven Self-Adaptation (MUSA), winning a prestigious award during the international SEAMS conference.
