Social Network of the Entities of Historical Centers
The research project SNECS, Social Network of the Entities of Historical Centers, had the objective of collecting and transmitting the contents of scientific knowledge of an artistic, archaeological, literary, historical-philosophical nature in the Campania region, with particular emphasis on historical centers, activating and experimenting with new strategies for their representation, organization, dissemination and promotion based on technological intelligence paradigms, which represent the challenges of Smart cities and Smart environment, which the European community asks to meet. SNECS wanted to support such a design by designing a set of integrated ICT services capable of collecting information from all interventions on the environment, energy saving, and health, in order to measure the effects on the quality of life of the community.
