Holoface

The goal is to create an interface, as transparent as possible for the user and external people, to monitor the surrounding environment and react if external stimuli are detected and identified as intended for the user. In detail, face-to-face verbal interaction proposes an adaptive information visualization strategy based on an artificial intelligence module capable of identifying the presence of a person in front of the user and classifying whether that person intends to communicate with the user. The system dynamically adapts the interface to make the external person’s face fully visible, facilitating communication without further obstructive voice or gesture commands but still allowing the user to have complete control.
