Hololiver

Mixed reality application designed for Hololens v2 devices, capable of recreating anatomical images of patients, i.e. the liver, in the form of holograms. The system provides surgeons with the possibility to interact – in a collaborative way – with the holograms created by the segmentations of the patient’s CT scans to improve planning and obtain a more natural and profound three-dimensional view of every single section of the organ to decide the best approach to take during interventions in the operating room. Hololiver can improve (pre)operative spatial awareness, in case of delicate or hard-to-reach anatomical areas.
