Pietro Neroni is a researcher at the Institute for High-Performance Computing and Networking (ICAR) of the National Research Council (CNR). He also lectures the “Virtual Reality and Computer Graphics” course at the Polytechnic and Basic Sciences School of the University of Naples “Federico II”.
Graduated (cum laude) in Computer Science at the University of Naples “Federico II,” he obtained the title of PhD in “Information and Communication Technology and Engineering” at the University of Naples “Parthenope” with a thesis entitled “Interactive Virtual Reality for rehabilitation therapies.”
From 2020 to 2022, he was a Senior XR developer / Solution Architect for NTT Data Italia.
His research interests include the design of interactive virtual and augmented reality systems and the study and analysis of natural interaction techniques applicable to such systems.
