Silvia Franchini

Silvia Franchini is a Researcher at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), Institute for High-Performance Computing and Networking (ICAR). Previously, she was a Research Assistant at the Department of Computer Engineering of the University of Palermo.

She received a Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering (cum laude) and a PhD degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Palermo.

She is an Adjunct Professor of Informatics at the University of Palermo.

Her research interests include medical imaging, geometric calculus applications, embedded systems and architectures, and innovative graphic processors.
