abstract = {Stress management and relaxation are critical areas of interest in mental health and well-being. Forest bathing is a practice that has been shown to have a positive effect on reducing stress by stimulating all the senses in an immersive nature experience. Since access to nature is not universally available to everyone, virtual reality has emerged as a promising tool to simulate this type of experience. Furthermore, generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools offer new opportunities to create highly personalized and immersive experiences that can enhance relaxation and reduce stress. This study explores the potential of personalized multisensory VR environments, designed using GenAI tools, to optimize relaxation and stress relief via two experiments that are currently underway. The first evaluates the effectiveness of non-personalized versus personalized VR scenes generated using AI tools to promote increased relaxation. The second explores the potential benefits of providing the user with additional personalization tools, from adding new virtual elements to the AI-generated scene, to adding AI-generated sounds and scent/haptics customization. Ultimately, this research aims to identify which customizable elements may lead to improved therapeutic benefits for multisensory VR experiences. © 2025 IEEE.},

abstract = {The landscape of medical education is undergoing a paradigm shift driven by technological advancements. This abstract explores the potential of ChatGPT, an advanced AI language model developed by OpenAI, in revolutionizing medical education. ChatGPT’s capacity to understand and generate human-like text opens doors to interactive, personalized, and adaptive learning experiences that address the evolving demands of medical training. Medical education traditionally relies on didactic approaches that often lack interactivity and personalization. ChatGPT addresses this limitation by introducing a conversational AI-driven dimension to medical learning. Learners can engage with ChatGPT in natural language, seeking explanations, asking questions, and clarifying doubts. This adaptive interactivity mirrors the dynamic nature of medical practice and fosters critical thinking skills essential for medical professionals. Furthermore, ChatGPT augments educators’ roles by assisting in content creation, formative assessments, and immediate feedback delivery. This empowers educators to focus on higher-order facilitation and mentorship, enriching the learning journey. However, responsible integration of ChatGPT into medical education demands careful curation of accurate medical content and validation against trusted sources. Ethical considerations related to AI-generated content and potential biases also warrant attention. This abstract underscores the transformative potential of ChatGPT in reshaping medical education. By creating an environment of engagement, adaptability, and personalization, ChatGPT paves the way for a dynamic and empowered medical learning ecosystem that aligns with the demands of modern healthcare. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.},

abstract = {Generative AI is revolutionizing interactive and immersive advertising by enabling more personalized, engaging experiences through advanced technologies like VR, AR, and MR. This transformation is reshaping how advertisers create, deliver, and optimize content, allowing for two-way communication and blurring lines between digital and physical worlds. AI enhances user engagement through predictive analytics, real-time adaptation, and natural language processing, while also optimizing ad placement and personalization. Future trends include integration with emerging technologies like 5G and IoT, fully immersive experiences, and hyper-personalization. However, challenges such as privacy concerns, transparency issues, and ethical considerations must be addressed. As AI continues to evolve, it promises to create unprecedented opportunities for brands to connect with audiences in meaningful ways, potentially blurring the line between advertising and interactive entertainment. The industry must proactively address these challenges to ensure AI-driven advertising enhances user experiences while respecting privacy and maintaining trust. © 2024 IEEE.},

abstract = {The traditional retail experience for purchasing watches lacks the interactivity and personalization that modern consumers seek. With the increasing shift towards online shopping platforms, there is a growing demand for an engaging and immersive virtual experience that allows customers to explore and try on watches. The absence of expert guidance during the online shopping process often results in less informed decision-making. To address these challenges, WRISTVIEW presents an innovative solution that integrates augmented reality (AR) and a conversational Generative AI (GENAI) chatbot. The AR component enables users to virtually try on watches, providing a realistic and interactive experience. The GENAI chatbot enhances this experience by offering expert advice, answering queries, and guiding users through the watch shopping journey, thereby creating a more personalized and informative shopping process. The objective of this research is to bridge the gap between the traditional in-store watch shopping experience and the online environment, ensuring that customers can make well-informed and satisfying purchase decisions in a virtual setting. The development, implementation, and potential impact of combining AR and GENAI technologies to transform the online watch shopping experience are discussed. © 2024 IEEE.},

abstract = {Generative artificial intelligence (AI) has revolutionized content creation. In parallel, the Metaverse has emerged to transcend the constraints of our physical reality. While Generative AI has a multitude of exciting applications for the fields of writing, coding, and graphic design, its usage to personalize our virtual space has not yet been explored. In this paper, we investigate the application of Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) to personalize our virtual spaces and enhance the metaverse experience. To this end, we present a pipeline to enable users to customize their virtual spaces. Moreover, we explore the hardware resources and latency required for personalized spaces, as well as user acceptance of the AI-generated spaces. Comprehensive user studies follow extensive system experiments. Our research evaluates users' perceptions of two generated spaces: panoramic images and 3D virtual spaces. According to our findings, users have shown a great interest in 3D personalized spaces, and the practicality and immersion of 3D space generation tools surpass panoramic space generation tools. © 2024 ACM.},
